Honestly?

I think of Fish and Chips and rain.

It must be nice place to live :) And I rarely hear anything bad about English people. Rowan Atkinson, my favorite comediann is from there.

A couple of generations of moderate influence from the US has done at least some good over here.

I don't think anyone else in the world really sees much of it, but when the british are among their fellow british, they like to moan. a lot. about the weather, the football, the cricket, the government, work, their home, the wife or husband, we moan about anything!Mr_sprinkles

England is definitely one of the three or four places I want to visit the most before I die... but it's just waaaay too expensive right now :( I'd almost like to spend a month or two over there to see what life is like.

I quite like England. Only been there 4 times, but they were good times. London is pretty vibrant and the country as a whole has a history, unlike most others. They have the best football leagues (not just the Premiership) and immigration is not as bad as the Conservatives make it out to be. It is the main part of the UK, which is arguably the strongest constituency in Europe.

So not bad.
