Personally, I call my mother momma. Ahhh..momma:oops:

It really depends on how you use it. Most of the time it's used for "right" ie "We're still going to the store, right?"or 'Ne' which is basically 'hey' in Japanese.

Yeah... I have no idea how that started. We can get very nerdy together as siblings. I don't think she has any idea we call her that.Oddly enough i call my mom mother and my dad daddy, i think though its because as i grew up i began to think of her in more of a formal way or something, like because she was there for me more i had more respect for her so my base ideals of my father are more as they were when i was a child because of the lack of time spent, though it was there, just not as much as with my mom.
Or i just picked it up from my siblings *shrugs*
