What do you do if a guy starts hititng on/flirting with your GF?

Hasn't really been an issue with me yet with my current romance but it happend a lot with my ex and I just tried to completely ignore it but that didn't seem to be a great solution either. Doing nothing just leaves the door open but I would never do anything violent either.

Don't get me wrong, I trust her and I'm sure nothing would come of it but still I'd like to be ready to shoot him down for both our sakes.

Any suggestions?

Touchy subject. My girlfriend called me while she was at a party and we was chatting. This guy grabbed the phone off her and said "you got competition!". I went silent, didn't say a word to him. I was waiting for her to speak again. She assured me that there isn't anything going on. Chel is a character like none other I have met, she has a split personality, she's an Angel to me, but she's also a hell kitten, a kind of cute goth, scene girl mentality which often attracts cerain types of people. She gets plenty of flirts, she likes it, she always tell me about them. She's normally flattered and it makes her feel good about herself, it makes her happier, so I don't mind it. I've never had a guy stand between us before, I don't know what i'll do.

Since i'm the one slipping her dress off at night, I guess they all failed.

It is hard to explain in words, but you gotta be smooth in the way you do it.

She won't exactly get it( may just think you are giving attention or something), but the guy will see it and usually back off cuz they understand it.

I'm sure it works if done right, but a friend of mine uses that all the time (his girlfriend's quite the flirt) and everyone in the room can see what he's doing. She doesn't appreciate it either. cr4zychri5

If I were him I wouldn't appreciate my girl going around flirting with every guy.

Honestly he could probably do better, because if you have to do that often then the girl is probably not worth the trouble.

I'll just stand there for a while to see if she makes any effort to back him off. If she doesn't do it, I'll destroy the guy.

If you let her deal with it it shows you trust her

if you dont, it makes you look weak also... depends on your gf
