How do you cheer yourself? I'm afraid to tell anyone about the grade I got

I say "oh well, that was expected." Then I don't tell my parents. When they see my report card mark, I cry and say I don't know how it could have happened.
Edit: It's strange that as often as this happens, I was still granted conditional acceptance to the University of Alberta this morning.
:(
It's the worst grade I've ever got. A really bad one... the exam was easy but the prof. hasprobably looked too much in our papers
Well, then you should've done better with your paper then. It's not hard to get A's.Pinkk346
Over here it is. Where I study, you don't know what it takes to get an A. Not because you're not studying what 'm studying XD But because I STILL don't know how to get an A XD it's vague and random. completely random

How bad are we talking here?
7/15
I suck
:P I dunno but I don't feel like crying or anything. It's just that I don't think studying and working hard is worth it.

Eh its not that bad. Could've been along the lines of 4/15 like I got once. But your problem is that you're studying and working hard. It most definately is not worth it. If you know you're good at what you're doing and you have the confidence you should do fine. Then again, it might not work for you. It does for me though.
At the end of the year in my English class people were studying their arses off, trying to remember any quotes, gathering resources, writing practice essay after practice essay. What did I do? I sat around doodling and talking to people. Come exam time, I finish with 50 minutes to spare. I get my result, 91%. I was calm and I knew what I was doing by not doing anything at all. But like I said, might be different for you.

Depeding on the faculty you go into U of A can have very lax conditional acceptance requirements. It took me FOREVER to get conditional acceptance for Faculty of Engineering and that was with an 88% avg in high school. Several friends of mine however with high 70ish avgs got conditional acceptance to Facutly of Science easily however.
And in case you can't tell by now, I'm currently in U of A, 2nd year engineering.
On the note of marks... I rarely got a mark below 70 in high schoo. University on the other hand... engineering is absolutely destroying me. Barely pulling thru each semester with about a 2.0 gpa every time.
I've failed a couple of university classes but I was never surprised or saddened at the result as I always saw it coming beforehand, as the failure was at the expense of some other class I focused more on. Though one of them was taught by an idiot of a prof who hated me, and no matter how hard I tried (which was much harder in the second half of the course) he always got picky when marking my exams and I ended up with lower scores than most other people. His justification was that he had to fail three students and it wasn't his fault, although the whole grading on a curve thing long since disappeared from my university after people realized its idiocy.DJ_Lae
OMG tell me about it. Here too, professors get orders from the admin. to lower the grades of studnts and not give everyone an A so that they don't apply to the best jobs out there! what an ugly exuse! And yet they bring people from other countries to work as lawyers and judges and advisors and bla bla bla and citizens get whatever job is there!
I cannot answer since I have a 4.0 GPA in college thus far.Pinkk34620$ says hes on his second term...of his first year
