What are some things you guys like to do when you're stressed? Normally I play video games, but lately I've been getting even more stressed when playing them.

[QUOTE="spazzx625"]I read a book or go for a bike ride.martinX3Xwhat kind of books do you read? I find non-fiction to be the best stress relief since they are slow paced but (usually) interesting if the topic at hand is of interest. I tend to read just about every genre of fiction.

I just "fly" around in FSX.
[QUOTE="ghoklebutter"]Fight it head on. That's the only real way to get rid of stress for good.martinX3Xlol so what exactly do you do to "fight it"? I'm guessing he means engage whatever is the source of the stress
Playing video games and doing exercise helped my stress when I was at University. Didn't play any games for a month, so it was all work and no play, became stressed. Had a pain in my chest. Then I decided to take it easy and play more and start going to the gym, the pain didn't come back since then and felt better.

other solutions:
Play a long single player game I know I can beat (to try and beat it faster than I did before... yesterday it was Resident Evil on GC)
Hang out with cousins or close friends (the conversations with friends usually get my mind off BS in life)
Sex (the ultimate art to relieve stress)
Watching the news (looking at how messed up the world is - you realize your own isn't that bad)

Sounds like one of those stress releases you regret after doing it.
At first? Have an anxiety attack.
Afterwards, tell myself not to sweat it and that it's no big deal.
Finally, get my mind off the subject by gaming, watching TV, reading, or browsing the web.
I generally just stop caring about the situation that is stressing me out and accept whatever the outcome of that situation is.
