There something about It has 25% of creating a Black hole in the earth what u guys think?Midnight_IceIt, in fact, does not have a "25% of creating a Black hole"
I don't get why people can't just leave well enough alone and stop trying to play God.harashawnI don't get why you would characterize trying to get a deeper understanding of the universe as "playing God".
A small black hole wouldn't really do anything.
But I do think it is very stupid to spend that much money on something like this.
They could've invested it on a research to cure diabetes, cancer, AIDS, and things that do matter.

Im pretty sure it isn't a 25% chance. If it was that high I don't think they would risk it. I think it is something like a 0.000034 chance:?
Anyway, I think it is going to be very astounding and interesting what they discover. Science amazes me so much sometimes:P

*Thinks of I am Legend*
They said its a 1% chance of a black hole forming,Even if it dose,it would be microscopic and die out in less than a second,CERN said.Wolf-avatarActually I think it would disappear quicker than that. From what I red, if a black hole was about the size of car it would evaporate in one nanosecond. I couldn't even imagine how quickly a microscopic black hole would evaporate.
