30m-1hr bus ride one way commuting to work each day, so I'm on my phone for usually around 1-2 hours a day just from that. Keep a bunch of current stuff loaded up on my phone while I play FF Brave Exvius or SMT Dx2 to pass time in traffic. Slow days at work where all I'm doing is planning or auditing, I'll throw on my earbuds so no one bothers me. Then the other 30-60 minutes driving to or from the park and ride I have my phone plugged in to aux.

Ipod mostly, use it when I'm walking/driving somewhere. Also use laptop/PC (YouTube) when studying or reading.

I generally switch between two CDs in the car, or I will use the phone while working out. Used to play it through a bass guitar amp but I haven't set that up yet at new location. I have an aux cord for the car but I tend to listen to one album on repeat for months on end.

For a while earlier this year, I listened on my commute to work and on my lunch breaks with my studio headphones. Before then, I listened to music for eleven years almost exclusively with my PC and headphones. Now I mainly listen with my receiver and surround system, using only the front side speakers for stereo and the three fronts for mono. I've listened to Pink Floyd's Meddle in proper surround sound and was really impressed, but haven't looked for 5.1 music beyond that.

I have an iPod Classic. It's been acting kind of screwy lately, but it's been reliable for the most part the last several years.

In my car on the 5 disc CD player:

I change CD's every couple months....

Currently in the CD player, 5 exceptional albums (at least 3 are masterpieces) from 2 bands, CD's ranging from 1978 - 1986. Both British bands.

They are:

CD 1 - Chair Missing (1978) from the band Wire

CD 2 - 154 (1979) from the band Wire

CD 3 - Black Sea (1980) from the band XTC

CD 4 - English Settlement (1982) from the band XTC

CD 5 - Skylarking (1986) from the band XTC

Great music.....up next in about a month, 2 by Bjork (Bjork greatest hits and Vespertine), 2 by Sigur Ros, and 1 by an Icelandic band to be named later. Any suggestions?
