When I was in JK there was a universal idea that all people in the class were friends. There was no cool kids, jocks, rockers, skaters or any of these generalize groups. We all judged people on a personal level instead of a superficial one. You can hang out with group and hang out with another the next day without consequences. I miss those days. Sure the tolerance gets better in college and after people get to a mature point that being popular or being was not important. But, in high-school and elementary school I felt so detached and lonely having to choose what group or friends I belong to.
Getting beaten. AHhhh good times. No, my childhood sucked, my family is growing more and more boring every day, especially since all my siblings have moved out...... I've never met two people who talk less.... its pretty painful. It sounds mean, but I can't wait until I'm old enough to move out.
what i miss most from my childhood is being in diapers...just lettin it loose whenever you want....just like the astronauts!angryguywalking

playing my n64 and knowing that they were awsome games to play, now i feel that the games r getting low on ideas and the story lines r getting shorter multiplayer took over.

Nothing. A job is better than school. Independence is better than strict totalitarian rule, and having my voice deep enough to sound like the cookie monster is awesome!
Recess, being carted around in a stroller/wagon, seeing my grandparents almost everyday, having a friend that lived next-door, school was fun and easy, knowing very little, being in a 4th grade class that consisted of 8 people :lol:.
Not worrying about whats next. My bipolar disorder wasn't bad when I was young and school was the maximum extent of my worries, no it's like 20 other things on top of school including whether I'm going to be living or not when I slip into depression. It's a scary thought not having even a brief outline of what might happen over the course of the next year.
I miss Nickelodeon. That used to be full of great shows, now it's just full of crap like Spongebob. What happened to Clarrisa Explains it All, Figure it Out, Legends of the Hidden Temple, All That, The Amanda Show, The Adventures of Pete and Pete, The Journey of Allen Strange and other good shows.

I watched all of those! Except for Pete and Pete. BUT I think the Amanda Show started the badness that is Nick today. Dont forget Kenan and Kel that show was greatness! Oh and I thought it was the Adventures of Allen Mack.

I like Spongebob. I don't think Nick has changed much....they've always had the live action shows with a couple of reguarly shown animated shows. It's just not the same ones most of us here grew up with so we don't like them.

What? You never saw The Adventures of Pete & Pete? That show sums up all my childhood nostalgia in 30 minutes everytime I see it. It was such a brilliant show. And I agree, The Amanda Show made Nick go downhill.

Drake and Josh is alright. I liked it better when Josh was fat tho, it was funnier lol.
