Paper, because if I'm staring at something digital and bright for a while it would start to hurt my eyes. >.>

Paper, i don't have a proper e-reader so i may with one of those as they're more comfortable for reading and they're easier on the eyes.

Sparknotes.

I mean you can get the point and main idea of the whole book in minutes, read a summary of the plot, read a detailed anaylsis on each character....

actually the new electronic book things arent backlit and can be viewed in direct sunlight (theres a few brands), so they are VERY easy on the eyes. However they are kinda expensive. I would rather read a REAL book on PAPER and spend less money. However I read my news on Yahoo, because newspapers are a ripoff and slow. but Paper books are the way to go IMO.

Can I just watch the movie... basically most books are crap. Even those that I enjoy reading have not been good enough for me to allocate the time to read again.

Personally I love the idea of an e-reader... basically my eyes have adjusted to digital reading so spending a few hours looking at a screen is no different than paper. The great thing about an e-reader is you can basically carry around an entire library in your pocket. Need a russian phrase book... bam you got it. Want to find a recipie for supper while grocery shopping bam cookbooks galore. Feel like a saucy mystery instead of the comedy book you intended you've got it all in a simple little device.

My only problem w/ an e-reader is they haven't incorporated it into out other digital devices. It's like they expect me to carry my phone, my mp3 player, my video player, my DS and my kindle around w/ me???? Once somebody invents a phone that allows me to not ever carry anything else I'm buying that phone.

I don't know why anyone would want to look at a computer screen for hours rather than look at paper.

Until I get a proper e-reader, I'd prefer paper, I usually like to change rooms and move around whilst reading.

Paper books. My goal in life is to kill as many trees as possible I use two rolls of toilet paper every time I go use the restroom. The double quilted kind to, not the cheap stuff.

Well, I've never actually read a book digitally, but I could see preferring to read one digitally on the right handheld device. I think there's something to be said for backlit screens and not having to have to worry about getting the right lighting on the page. Also, I've gotten rid of so many books over the years just because of all the space they take up.

On the other hand there is something to be said for physical objects, especially when ownership rights on digital products are generally rather anti-consumer, and a book probably is pretty unlikely to stop functioning at some inopportune moment. :P

I can't sit still with a book. I'd have to do digitally. I mean, I don't actually read anyway though... so... i'm probably not the best person to ask. lol

Paper all the way. Staring at a screen hurts my eyes after a while and I like being able to bring my books around with me.
