what do you think about Ireland?

just curious. we all know that its culture and people constitute a significant presence in the western world. i'm betting some of you are of Irish descent too. so, what comes to your mind when you think of Ireland? do you see it as the ancient European kingdom that it is? the backyard of UK? the home of wonderful musicians and writers? if you've visited the place i would like to hear your stories too. :)

There seems to be a high concentration of Irish people there.

I picture it as a bunch of people with red hair getting hammered 24/7.
