What I believe is in something like reincarnation or circle of life thing spiritually though, though a bit more sciene like.
Basically everything runs on energy and energy can't be either created or destroyed. Whenever we do something we release energy, thoughts and emotions are fundementally energy. When we die the enegy in our body doesn't vanish is has to go somewhere with all our memories more or less go out into the world and joins all that other lose energy out there we can't see it floating around, but then usually if a person dies in a terrible way they leave an enegy print on a place which more or less creates ghosts (so it's theorised by scientists trying to think up a rational reasons for their "existence"). Well enegy changes forms so whats not to say that certain enegies become new people and that's why some people say they have vivid dreams and believe they've had past lives. So in other words all this enegy is your soul.
Whats not to say as well that they are higher beings or living things out there that are purely made of energy, or if there is a god maybe this is what he is and he's like this being that whispers over our shoulders and looks out for us. If he's enegy there's no reason why he can't be everywhere at once and maybe every so often he helps people who were good when they die and all their energy is released to still exist as pure energy too. Hence heaven, while everyone else is left to go back in the whole circle of things.
This is just the gist of it, I've talked about this with all the people I know so it only my theory about it and the possibility that their is some sort of life after death, whether is be as some form of energy or returning to life. Although I still believe their is a more spiritual side to it that could never ever be explained until you die and find out yourself.
