LOTR Man without a Name trilogy (Fistful of dollars, for a few dollars more, Good the bad and the ugly) Indiana Jones (The good ones) The Cornetto trilogy (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and next one is coming out next year)

For me I think the most amazing is the original Star Wars trilogy. For a series to have such a strong following after so many years is nothing short of amazing.

Aside from that other trilogies I liked were the Godfather trilogy, Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones, The Dollars Trilogy, The Bourne Trilogy and, at a pinch, Back to the Future.

EDIT : Dolalrs Trilogy = Man Without a Name trilogy. Thanks Iantheone for giving me the right name :)

I can't believe I haven't seen the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Well, I have, but I was like eight, and I can't remember any of it. I'm actually in the process of watching The Fellowship of the Ring now, but I keep getting too tired twenty minutes after watching it because it's freaking four in the morning each time.

the LOTR trilogy could have been over in an hour if they'd taken such advice as... see WKUK scetch anyhow, I choose the Alien Trilogy as the best trilogy of all time (first 3 movies only), I don't count that horrible piece of crap 4th Alien movie, I mean they let Joss Whedon write the screenplay, I hate Joss Whedon and all his made for TV crap, and they let a french director Jean-Pierre Jeunet direct it, who did good french films such as City of Lost Children, Delicatessen, and Amelie, but I wouldn't trust him to take on a project outside his native tongue, he ruined the series and set the pace for cheesy Alien/Predator crap films such as the next two AVP films
