What do you think of FaceBook?

I think it makes me hate a lot more people, although, it can be used as a very useful method of communication. People are just too egotistical and poetic try-hards. I only log into the damn thing to read peoples' statuses so I can make fun of them with other people later.

What say you?

I reckon is it has its uses, but I abstain.

It's a piece of sh!t, and I only use it once every two or three months to make sure none of my family members have tried to tell me something like that.

Seriously, last November I found a "Happy Fourth of July" message from my cousin.

It causes too many problems. I constantly see family members fighting over a post that another family member left. It's ridiculous.

i actually find twitter uselful for following people who actually tweet relevant stuff (politicians, bands, videogame developers etc.), though i don't tweet myself. just make sure to not follow people who constantly tweet tedious drivel.

as for facebook, i got rid of mine a while ago. i would find that the more i used it, the more i would reconsider my "friends".

I also agree with the bit about it being a technical mess. And instead of improving, it seems to be getting worse...

It definitely makes me hate people a lot more. Every day i click 'hide this person...' on someone new because i've had enough of reading about their ****. Mostly i feel irritated that i'm mostly held hostage by facebook because when i deleted my account i found that i would miss out on news/information about gatherings, parties, shift changes at work, lectures being cancelled because apparently facebook is the primary means of communication these days. People on Facebook don't feel like people to me. They almost seem so generic to me. People here are at least interesting.

I don't go on it very much, but it is a good way to keep in contact with friends old and new.

It's a good way of communication.

But some ppl cry too much thinking we care about their problems on fb..

im talking about ppl that add you froms chool, but arent really 'friends'..!

And if i remove them, theyll find out and assume im an A-hole for no good reason. -.-

I like it as I find it kind of a nice place where I can just ramble about the movies I've seen or music and art I like without bothering anyone but my 30 or so friends I have listed. It's also nice to see the daily exploits, journeys and whinings of friends of mine along with watching their pets and children slowly grow over the years.

I don't use it. Twitter is for me.
