What Do You Think Of GS Noobs?

I know that a thread like this may seem laughable coming from a Level 1 user, (I have decided to start out anew after my 20+ moderations, and to have a clean slate) but what do you think of them?

Do you think they are just as worthy of respect as such users like LJS5092_Basic etc, or that they should have to prove their worth before they are shown respect?

Anyway, everyone has to start somewhere right? I'll judge each noob individually depending on what he/she does, not just because they're noobs.

I respect users based on my experience with them, names has nothing to do with it... if you want to snuggle with me you have to work for it.

I don't mind lower levels because they make good points on occasion. Even higher levels make stupid topics as well.

I respect the ones with the higher post count more than I'd respect someone trying to make a point with only say...200 posts as compared to a person making a point with 3000 posts.

Well yes, that's clearly the case, but I always get irked when I see people being antagonistic towards someone just because they're new. I don't think there's any harm in assuming that someone will be a productive member until proven otherwise; I certainly think it's healthier than the alternative.

I rarely notice noobs one way or the other. They are GS users just like the rest of us. I also realize that just because they don't post much they might have watched for a long time.

Look at me. I just started posting over the past year or so.......and I've been here since '03. And I still consider myself a noob of sorts.

Now noobs spamming fad topics I can do without.....
