What do you think of New Jersey?

I've lived in New Jersey for most of my life and overall it's actually a pretty nice place. Where I live anyways. I live in the northern part of New Jersey in a suburban town that borders New York state. The crime rate is very low and it's one of the richest places in the country. A lot of Korean immigrants around here, including me and my family.

That's my New Jersey. But it's certainly not representative of the rest of the state. I think New Jersey's pretty nice but I know others don't share my opinion. When you hear New Jersey, what do you think? Has Jersey Shore affected your image of it?

The Devils are a great team, and Kevin Smith's movies are amazing. =3

Other than that, New Jersey blows.

I've always heard bad things about Jersey. I've bad things about it on Simpsons, Robot Chicken, Ninja Turtles...

I have no idea how it is, but so many make it sound like a crap hole. :lol:

Jersey Shore...

and Boardwalk Empire. I guess the awesomeness of Boardwalk Empire cancels out the lameness of Jersey Shore.

North Jersey: Bad drivers, smells like poo and just plain idiots.

South Jersey: bad drivers and cool people.

18 years of my life in NJ and thats what i can come up with :P

I have tried unsuccessfully for years to have the UK take back New Jersey.

Kevin Smith's movies are the only reason i'm proud to be in Jersey.

And the cast is from New York, not New Jersey. My sister lives in NJ and i know her, and a lot of her neighbors are pissed at the image the show is giving the state.

As i replied to the last person who said that, my view of the show is from South Park, i've never seen the actual show.. And everyone from Jersey were portrayed like that show in South Park, so by saying that show is what comes to mind, i mean that image of the people in the show, as shown in South Park
