its the right direction definately and a good cd overall.
the best thing is it will make dave mustaine work harder on the next megadeth cd, united abominations of last year already is miles better than DM. washington is next and sleepwalker destroy are boss.
I don't like it at all. I didn't listen to all of it, but most of it. On the songs that I heard I found myself checking to see how much time was left because I was starting to get tired of listening to it. This isn't about length, because I listen to 15 minute or longer songs every day. I just didn't like how the songs sounded here. Just very boring...
they actually do grow on you, like AJFA. the only songs i listen to are day that nvr comes and all nightmare long tho, the rest as you said bloodbath.. are very forgettable...
Aside from Cyanide, The Judas Kiss, and The Day that Never Comes, I don't really like the new album. Cyanide is a really good song in my opinion, though nowhere near as good as MoP, AJFA, RTL, etc.
I saw it at a music store, and laughed hysterically because the cover looked like a butt hole. As for the music, I don't know because I've never listened to it. But my friend said it was "OK."
