I like him, but only as Nostalgia Critic. I couldn't care less for his other skits or his other contributors except for Nostalgia Chick. As for his reviews, I'd say he's been losing steam as of late now that he's having to resort to a lot of lesser known films and shows after using up most of the grade-A material that's out there. Still, I liked the commercial review he did recently and his "The Room" review was one of the funniest things I've watched.gameguy6700I find SpoonyOne and Lord Kat great IMO.
As for reviews, seeing how I've seen a lot of those movies, he hits the nail on just about all of them.
sooo excited! He is awesome and one of my fav reviewers ever, I watch every episode he does too.
In fact, he's going to have a new one tonight...

This. I have a friend who often makes me watch his stuff. Usually I enjoy it, but not always.Sometimes funny, sometimes annoyingly high-pitched and screechy.

I just watched his newest review for "Inspector Gadget". Not his best review, but still funny. I remember watching the movie as a child...and liking it.
Doug is my favorite reviewer out there. I really liked his "Top Ten Movies Everybody Loves/Hates but I Hate/Love". I could have sworn he said he liked Transformers 2, but that may have been a joke.
[QUOTE="curono"]Pretty funny, but I think he's a duchebag in real life. Could be mistaken but that is my impression.Sajo7From anywhere specific? http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/thatguywiththeglasses/specials/27856-douginaustria He's not there in character, and he is behaving like the most annoying stereotype of an American tourist. He admitted to be cracking in laughter in the final scene of Toy Story 3. I will say that if you didn't find it sad/emotional, it is ok. But come on... a little respect to the rest of the people emotionally involved and probably breaking into tears.. I dont know. Everytime I see him out of character (Nostalgia Critic) he still seems to have a douchebag cap on...

Could be mistaken but that is my impression.Ace6301He seems completely different outside the character, kind of like how the AVGN is actually a nice guy. AVGN seems like a really nice guy. I'd never bash him. Even when he makes his anthologies/nostalgic reviews he is legitimately involved. I like that... Although sometimes AVGN isnt that funny. Sorry. Sometimes I think he doesnt deliver...

Try his top 10 about movies he like or dislike, etc, there is outside character and it seems like a nice guy, also the behind the scenes of their anniversary events.
Anyway, i'm a huge fan of Nostalgic Critic (not so much about his other characters), i think my favorite is Alone in the Dark or maybe Kazaam, or maybe Moon Walker or...man, he truly has a lot of great videos.
I like him and most of his reviews. Im not a big fan of the old vs news though because he is actually being more serious in those, and if i havent seen the old or the new, i dont care about those films.
