Um, I wasn't joking. There's no section here for "game concept suggestions", so I figured that I would put it in the off-topic section, since, well, it's kind-of off-topic.
I think it would be awesome. They made previous GTA's that take place in different time periods, so it made me come up with the idea of expanding that idea a bit further...ok, quite a bit further, like the year 1100.
I guess that, as someone said earlier, it might look and feel like an Assasin's Creed, but what I envision is much wider, broader, & free-ranging, like the GTA games. In fact, it would probably be really cool for Rockstar to pull it off, since they do seem to have experience in this sort of thing. Furthermore, it should take place in the greatest medieval metropolis of Europe. Constantinople would be perfect, because besides being a massive city in its time (still is, as Istanbul), it was also near enough to the East that the developers could draw from multiple sources to fill their themes and characters. Vikings, Turks, Bulgars, Aragonese, Slavs, Greeks, and even Mongols interacted in this setting. Furthermore, the game could draw from the intrigue, subterfuge, corruption, and conflict that the Byzantine Empire was famous for.
I really don't mean to offend anyone. It's just an idea.
