I say do what the court sentenced them to do.

I also think that being a child molester is a terrible thing, but they can't really do anything about it. I agree with one of the above, good tracking of child molesters would also work well. Many aren't these feindish, vile creatures that everyone portrays them as.

A child molestor isn't a vile creature?! I don't see what could make a person more vile than molesting. Its an indefensible act. For the sake of their own hedonism they are willing to violate the innocence and trust of a child. I don't understand how anyone that does such a thing could be considered anything but fiendish and vile.

Any one who abuses a child deserves death or life in prision.

Though life in prision will make the person suffer more.

When you start treating them as inhuman monsters you become an inhuman monster. Besides when and if they get out they'll do it again, there just seems to generally be terrible lack of proper rehabilitation for child molestors. If it could be delt with through the means of psychology and psychiatry everyone would be better of for it.

I don't think you know what a "child molester" is. It's is somebody that sexually violates child. How is that something that cna't be helped? I don't think pedohilia can be helped, but saying that somebody can't help being a child molester is like saying somebody can't help being a rapist.

A pedophile cannot help the fact that they are a pedophile. And in most cases, the molestation is initiated by a trusted family member and almost never violent. I understand where you are comming from, its a sick act. but if the pedophile were a responsible adult, they would seek help.

if you molest a child and they catch you, youll be killed

if you molest 3 children and then kill them, youll be killed as well

conclusion: if you were a child molester and you raped a child, you might as well kill him, because if he remains alive the chances that they catch you are much higer and the penalty is the same

This already happend in India, since there were a lot of rape cases, authorities decided to do what most people wanted: death sentence to rapists. Not only the rape rate didnt decrease, but the number of cases of rape followed by killing increased violently

You know, there is a solution besides death. Prison is one option, but its not like they choose to do it. Well, yes and no. Its a PROBLEM that can be solved. Killing them doesn't solve it, I mean, would you kill a person that could be cured of something like this? That is what you would be doing. They are mentally ill.

G-man that is a good point.

Some people are trying to pass it off as some type of disease, it maybe technically, anyone who is of sound mind knows that it is wrong and against the law - therefore they know totally well their actions are wrong.

Also many people who molest, have inturn been molested. If nothing is done then the cycle continues.

While I voted for death - after reading G-Man's post I believe prison is the only option.
