They should throw the book at him. What he did to those poor dogs is unforgiveable and its a dangerous activity should they get loose (and they have) and attacked other people. Doesn't matter that he has a $120 million dollar contract, this sort of thing is still part of his cultural backround. If he were a normal person, he'd be facing a 6 year prison sentence. What will probably happen, he'll hire a good lawyer that will get him off on a technicality. However, he will probably be banned from the NFL and blacklisted which is what he deserves.
Completely indifferent about this, I could really care less if he gets off.. People have gotten off with far worse crimes.. What I can't stand is how widely reported this is.. This belongs on animal planet, animal police series.. Not in the middle of national news where they could be showing me more important things.

He allegedly starved 8 dogs I believe, then put them into cage matches until one of the dogs dies. If one doesn't die I believe he kills them. When the dogs are young he tests them to see if they are aggressive enough to be put into these cage matches. If they aren't, he kills them. He should be sent to Prison and never allowed to play in the NFL ever again.

long story short hes a overpayed qb in the nfl who had a dogfighting operation on his property
He also has been accused of hanging, electrocuting, drowning, shooting etc etc the dogs that get injured or are not agressive enough.
So he did something against the law and he's going to have to pay for it. I don't understand where the controversy is.
It's the fact that what he did was sick and twisted, and because he is a professional athlete, he probably won't be punished like the average joe would be.
