I'm waiting for when we don't have to use wires and stuff. It's just full of electricity everywere in the air so we don't have to charge our laptops. Or full of internet everywhere. Would be cool.

Spaceships that can travel through our galaxy using FTL drives or warp speed. Or Relays similar to Mass Effect's Mass Relays.
Ways to travel space quicker and faster, and more safe. So we could reach things we cant even imagine, now that would be awesome. Jealous I wont see it in my life time.

Hyper-capacitors that are super cheap: it would allow us to charge all our electronics in seconds, allow for cheap electric cars, and actually make some energy techology (like solar and wind) actually ecnomically viable and competitive with nuclear and coal.Â
