I have noticed a massive following for awhile on gamespot towards linkin park. Personally, I think they are one of the worst bands to come about.. Sure i used to be a fan, but that was when I was twelve. I only nowadays know twelve year old fans as well. Do you like them? What do you think?
how can people not like them, there the most original band out there in the music biz, most rock is all the same now, and hiphop or rap is all the same aswell, there new album is fresh and new.
Probably one of my favourite groups. Last album was a bit of a let down. Its not a bad album when you give it a chance, but its not what I like linkin park for.
Their first album rocked, their second album was average and their third album was terrible. No, Im not counting remix albums as albums. Those sucked too IMO.
I think they are an average band. I don't listen to them so I guess my reasons might be flawed but from what I have heard, they don't sound all too bad. Its just I don't like that kind of music (nu-metal I guess). I don't dislike fans of the band or anything like that, I just don't listen to them myself.
The guy who said that they're like a boy band for 12-15 boys is pretty much spot on. Thier music is manufactured, over-produced, made for top-40 radio crap. All of thier songs use pretty much the same style and pattern with only a few exceptions. Lyrically, they're even worse, and can only appeal to that angsty 12-15 male demographic.
Ugh, Linkin Park. I used to have to listen to they're crappy singer scream unintelligible "words" from my brother's room every day for like a year. Seriously, I grew so sick of them I despise everything about them. EVERYTHING.
Linkin Park is for 12 year old girls. If you listen to them, you are a 12 year old girl at heart. "An average band" hardly describes these guys. Try "A Waste of Time" and you'll be there. I remember an interview I read about awhile back - the Linkin Park guys admitted in an interview they just make their music for money and they couldn't care less for the actual music.
