Unerving means something is scary and unsettling. There is a saying that someone has alot of nerve if they stand up to someone bigger than them or something of that nature, so unerving is saying something is scary or unsettling to the point where it takes that courage/nerve away.

I'm assuming you mean unnerving. It means "to lose your nerve", or in a more formal defition, "to become scared/freigtened". Its used to describe an uneasy feeling.

It is important to clarifiy that saying something is unnerving means that it is scary/frightening. To be unnerved is to lose your nerve from being frightened.

BTW tc hi from the US. Are you in Dutchland now or have you left the country?
