I dunno about Windows 7, but for Vista it's rated at a 5.3. Utter nonsense, especially considering the rest of the scores are 5.9 (processor), 5.7 (RAM), 5.9 (2D graphics), and 5.9 (3D graphics).

Its based on the lowest score... change your harddrive if you want a better score...
A computer is a system and so is only as weak as it's weakest component. The final score is the lowest in your system as it should be.I dunno about Windows 7, but for Vista it's rated at a 5.3. You have to use RAID0, a high speed drive (10k raptor or 15k cheetah) or an SSD to get 5.9 on HD[QUOTE="tycoonmike"]

You honestly think I haven't thought of that? I haven't found a hard drive yet that will fit it. Or rather, one that would be cost-effective and would actually increase its score. Besides, as I said, it's utter nonsense. The score is simply a subjective rating of the computer hardware. There are far better tests out there, like the industry standard "try to play the game you've owned for nearly a year and haven't been able to play due to the crap computer(s) you had before" test, more succinctly called the "Supreme Commander" test.
