I have been wondering about this for a while and I found this YouTube video.

Is this a good example of what English sounds like to non-English speakers or does it sound different?

the thing is a friend of mine who speaks German once told me how easy it was to learn German there are a lot of German words used in Englishas well asour wording and surnames for instants many English surnames end in er or ish much like German surnames .The same as if I hear someone speaking German - I hear it exactly the way a German speaker does, but I just can't understand it.

ive also wondered this.
i would assume it sounds to them, like what foreign languages sounds to english speakers.
Daaaa......baaaa.......dibba...dooooo........gahhhh. (One word)
(In their head) I wish this dumb**s fool would hurry up. I've got somewhere to be. (Took about the same time in their language)
Listen to somebody when they speak but only pick the sounds of the word and not the letters. It sounds like gibberish.
Now all you need to do is show that video to someone who doesn't speak or understand english, and see if they think there's something wrong with it._Cadbury_Where's ambitiousknight when you need him?
Since my native language is Spanish I gotta admit English was kind of hard at the beginning, but mind that I started learning English as a kid. Now, it is quite easy but for what I hear from my classmates the real problem of them is the pronunciation and the grammar rules. Miroku32Grammar is hard regardless of language, I still don't have mine packed in Spanish.
