I know next to nothing about electronic music, I'm mainly metal and classical, but I recently heard Daft Punk and liked them. That's the extent of my knowledge, though.

why? he has made gems like Squarepusher theme, beep street, come on my selector, hello meow, bubble life, red hot car etc. Although his later work Music is rotted one note, budakan headphone etc. do suck indeed, listening 6 minutes to vacuum cleaner noise isn't my thing.

I mostly like trance. My favorite artists are DJ Tiesto, DJ Dean, Mauro Picotto, Gigi D' Agostino, Armin van Buuren, and some others. But most of the good trance songs are from kinda unknown artists.
i mainly listen to EBM. VNV nation, Pride and Fall, [:SITD:], Grendel, Eden synthetic corps, Hocico, Angels and Agony, De/vision, God Module, Seabound, cesium_137, Grendel, Suicide Commando to name a few.
Heres a really cool artist. He's pretty unknown but he does have a cd "Story of Life" Available on iTunes, I recommend getting it. heres a site to some of his music. He makes it all using an instrument called an ewi, It's a Saprano Sax like instrument that filters into a synthesiser then a computer many different sounds can be put together
I'm a huge fan of Orbital, and got the chance to meet them after one of their concerts... amazing! I've always like Crystal Method, as well as some of Daft Punk and Chemical Brother's work.
Juno Reactor is pretty amazing, and you should definitely check out Thievary Corporation... I didn't see them in your list. TC is very laid back, but they have some excellent sounds and you would probably like them based on your list. Their album "The Mirror Conspiracy" is amazing.
I like a lot of world music/techno blends, so the Bhudda Bar series is one I can reccomend quite a bit if you haven't heard it. DJ Scott Hardkiss also has some great stuff.

OMG...sorry I've just never seen another fan, royksopp's eple is my favourite song man. I'm not sure overall of my tastes in the genre yet but I'm getting alot more knowledgeable about the dance genre in general lately. Perhaps you could recommend me a electro/techno artist?
