What element would you wish to control?

I would love to be able to control water. I would want to be able to turn into water so I can sneak through cracks and go through drains for fast transportation. I would also be able to conjure crazy tidal waves. I would be able to make it rain acid when ever I wish. Also, if I ever get thirsty I would be able to pour myself glass.

I've always had a soft spot for controlling wind. Think about it, wind contains oxygen and is essentially air, so if I dont like someone I can just withdraw all air from their lungs and body.

The Human Element

Definitely carbon as previously mentioned. Carbon can be formed to make the weakest of things (pencil lead) or to be one of the hardest (diamond). To bad diamond isn't the hardest thing anymore :(
