What Era Would You Live In???

If you could travel back in time to any era to live for the rest of your life what era would it be and why? What country would you choose? And if it's possible who would you want to spend time with?

I'd travel back to this morning. Breakfast was awesome.

I think I like living in my own era. Maybe a few years earlier, like if I was born in 1983 or something. As many complaints as I have about our society today and how its going to hell, there are a lot of things that I love and enjoy that weren't available so many years ago. Not knowing what I know and being born in centuries past, I would probably be dead by the age of 40.

As much as I hate to say it, this time period is pretty great overall.

I'll stick with what I know, the here and now era.

I'd live in the 1870s as an aristocratic gentleman of the Junker class and play poker with Bismarck and Wilhelm on tuesdays while discussing the acquisition of Alsasce and Lorraine. Bismarck would be like "If we have another war it will be because of some damn foolish thing in the balkans." and i'd be all like "Well the French are still pissed about Lorraine, man." and he'd be like "They won't do ****, i'm working on an alliance with the Russians." and I'd be like "Ya but Wilhelm won't make it happen so we'll be stuck in a two front war, lol, Plus you gonna get fired LOL." and Bismarck would glare at Wilhelm awkwardly.fidosim

France during the Enlightenment. Sure, it comes crashing down in a big way, but I don't think I could pass up the chance to be a part of that culture and mingle with intellectuals like Voltaire.

American 1860s. I've always been interested in the American Civil War for some odd reason.

I'd sale w/ Chrstopher Columbus when he found America. It would probably suck, but I've always found that to be pretty damn interesting. MMMMM Peanut Butter. LOL:P

I'd probably choose that time period from late 19th century to early 20th century in France.

This era is the best era. But if I had to live in any other era I would pick the 80s in America.

I wish I could just be going into Highschool around the time when N64 came out. That would be sick.

I dunno, Voltaire, Socrates, Einstein, DaVinci, Newton, Franklin, Jefferson, FDR, Elizabeth, Che, Marx, Lenin, DuBois, Malcolm X, Descartes, Ghandi, Lincoln, Dickens, Shakespeare, Poe, Shelley, Thoreau, Douglass, MacArthur, Eisenhower, and many others. That's way too unfair to narrow something like that down to one person. As to what I would be, could I be a human? Not someone very close to them, just someone they're comfortable enough to have intellectualdiscussions with.

No one has gone along with my BUMP. Imagine if you could (Example) be in the room with Heath Ledger, Marilyn Monroe, Kurt Cobain or Elvis Presley in their last days to see what really took place. Maybe being a playboy bunny back in Hef's prime. Let's go way back and say watching Sparta Kick major A$$ against the Persians. ( I do realize that someone did post being alive back when Sparta was around). How about watching asMoses lead the Israelites out of Egypt to see if the Red Sea was really parted. Being in the same room as Jack the Ripper to see how menacing he really was. How about if you could be a pet in the same house as Albert Einstein. There are so many cool events that one could witness.

Hm...I will name two,either ancient times in Greece or Rome,or Medieval times in Russia the Byzantium Empire,or France/England!
And also a third on,any era exept this one,despite the fact that i have games in the 21th century :)
