It depends for me, like if a song is fast and angry I get hyped up.

I listen to a lot of trance, so I'm usually... soothed...
Some other music, like techno makes gets me pumped up.
With Orchestra and Opera I don't understand the tongue it's spoken in, but I still get chills and feel the mood.

It depends on the genre and the lyrics in the song. If it is a pop rock band or some main stream rap (especially the new stuff). I tend to get depressed haha.
If it's a romantic song, I feel like making looooove! 8)JustPlainLucasEverybody needs a little time away, I heard her say, from eaaaach otheeeeerrrrrr. Even lovers need a holiday, far away, from each otheeeeer

Yep...and it depends on whether I like the song or not.Whatever mood or feeling the song portrays get to me. That's how it is for most people.

Same could be said for metal (with vocals that are hard to make out or in another language). The feeling is what really matters, although usually if it's in English I can understand it. I listen to music that reflects my mood. If I'm in a good mood I listen to anything. With Orchestra and Opera I don't understand the tongue it's spoken in, but I still get chills and feel the mood.

If it's music I enjoy, I get this feeling of excitement usually, or relaxation depending on the song. I also get this strong urge to play music. And then if it's music I don't like, I feel like someone has committed a terrible sin.soldier-dark
This. If a good guitar solo comes up (freebird) i air guitar lol
And if a good drums part comes up i air drum :)
When ever I hear music it just feels nice but no song has ever gotten to me like Testament's return to serenity.
