Scary Movie. It was a mediocre series to begin with but when The Wayans Bros. left, it REALLY started to blow big time. I can't pass judgement on the Die Hard series until I see the forth film. The first three were great, but turning an adult film series into PG-13 fare is almost never a good sign.
I guess we can add Die Hard to the list of film franchises that have gone down the toilet now. Fox just killed the franchise by making a new PG-13 Die Hard.lol_waffles
Agree if John mclane arent aloud tosay jippe kayyeee mother fkers the franchise have gone to hell.

Well, you are allowed to say one f-word in a pg-13 movie.

In sweden the ratin is like this when you are going to the cinema
Years 0-7 11 15 yearz. Now their is exeptions like if a boy that are 7 he can go to a movie that have a rating 11 if he has a parent with him but he cant go to a movie that are rated 15. The same goes for 11 year olds they can go to a movie that
are rated 15 but only if he has a parent with him.

G = Anyone can see it
PG = Parental Guidance. So it means anyone can go if it's okay with their parents. Which is pointless because no one who is old enough to go to the movies themself is going to see a PG movie.
PG-13 = You must be over 13 to go without a parent.
R = Anyone under 18 must be with a parent.
NC-17 = No one under 17 can go, even with a parent.

No, R is any under 17 has to go with a parent, you can go without a parent at 17. And NC-17 is that you have to be 18 or over to see it. You got the rest right though.[QUOTE="Rip870"][QUOTE="homerwd"][QUOTE="Rip870"][QUOTE="lol_waffles"]I guess we can add Die Hard to the list of film franchises that have gone down the toilet now. Ridiculously violent killing/action, and hardcore pornish stuff.
how about the land before time - I think that series is in the thirties - little foot just stands around or rolls on the ground for an hour and 20 minutesnightshade85Sad thing is that I have to watch all of them with my cousin when he comes to visit. Hes 5 years old and, for him, the movies NEVER END.
Wow, I've always said sequels get too much hate but it's pretty unanimous in this thread. I love sequels, I don't see alot of movies that get 'ruined'. I loved the whole matrix series, for example, but so many people think they're garbage and should have just left the first one.
I'm always happy to learn that something I liked is getting continued and I DONT look at it in comparison to the first one because the nostalgia from the original will always outweigh anything they can put into the sequel and that's where most people lose out on great movies, just comparing it. Working at blockbuster I so often hear the "oh man they should have left the original alone and never made this, it wasn't as good". It's like hating on remakes, or new albums or almost anything new, it makes people feel special (not everyone) to say it's not as good as it used to be.
/rant.
Edit: and I like the Scary Movie series, at least half of each movie I find funny. Not Date/Epic Movie, oh lord not them.

Very rerely will we ever see an NC-17 film in theaters. Most movie theaters will refuse to carry fims with those ratings, and pressure from watchdog groups has put pressure on large video chains like Blockbuster and Hollywood Video, preventing themfrom carriying those titles. The only film with that rating that has opened wide with heavy publicity with it was Showgirls, and it STILL tanked hard. Most film insiders see an NC-17 rating as the kiss of death on a film, which is why it's rarely used.

I saw 1900... That film was rated NC-17, and I saw why they rated the film like that. It was pretty graphic. :?

You'll still get what you want. PG-13s can spend their one alotted F-word on what we're expecting in a die-hard movie. Yippie-Kai-yay. 8)
Home-alone the first one was great then they slowly got worse did u know there is actually a 4thgamerchris810
The little kid from liar liar? What's the point? The kids only do so good at catching home invaders anyway cause they're able to vent on them where their parents have neglected them.
