Otherwise I buy whatever looks nice that's not an athletic shoe. I bought these recently

As far as sneakers go, I only wear Nike. I know what I am getting, and they make more shoes in my size (14) than any other large shoe company like Adidas or Reebok. I wanted some of those Zig-Tech reeboks, but I tried them on and they are really plasticky and uncomfortable. Right now I have a pair of 09 Air Maxs and a pair of 2012 Lunar Glides that I wear to work out, and I wear my dunks as my everyday type of shoe.

I have 3 pairs of Reebok and 2 Adidas and one or two other different brands, so mostly Reebok since I find they last a while, have a pair that's about 5 years old I use for walking dogs and general dirty or heavy use and after a good clean they actually look not bad.
