I think instead complaining about the state of OT people shoudl do something about it. I keep hearing about how thread topics are recycled. Yet, the people complaining about that don't come up with something new to talk about. They recycle the same "OT is dying" topic.
What makes me chuckle is that since I was a wee level 1 people were complaining about how OT has dropped in quality and how we should revert back to the good old days, but most of the people who do this now weren't even around for the glory days that I missed.
What's the secret? OT is based on personal interest, and once you've seen the same arguments over the same things, eventually your interest wains, because there are only so many times you can see the same thing and be amused.
Take a break. I did, and now I'm marginally more interested in this place.

Yeah sure, threads are bound to be repeated, but new opinions and points are brought up most of the time. Ive been here in the OT for a few months now, and ive seen countless threads posted multpiule times about the same subject. I usually make threads / post on current events or random "help" threads.
OT has changed. The age of deterrence has become the age of control... All in the name of averting Religion threads from posters of mass girl problems. And he who controls the Modship... Controls history. OT has changed... Wait, not really.
Some days are better than others. I'm more concerned with the slowing down of the Wii forum. OT has a lot of great posters. Post some topics you would want to discuss if it bothers you so much.:|
Sure, while I do agree with what you are saying, I also agree that OT has also surpassed its best moments. It was most fun around 3 years ago, but I am still going to come until the end of time so it doesn't really matter to me... things change.
Yeah, I don't go on as much as I used to. But people are pretty busy right now since it's like the end of school...exams. But I always see the boring old topics like about religion or news reports from the media...
so bad, i moved to SW for theE3 and find it a bit more interesting. Though, OT has it hits and misses. Sometimes it gets boring, take a week or month off, then return.
