It was my fav. show on Cartoon Network, but as I can recall, it just randomly stopped airing. Why? Did it get banned?

Man, I loved that show! It had such a unique style and the animation was superb.

The show was never officially cancelled, but production was halted. The creator has said on the last DVD box set that he is planning to make an animated movie to give the story a proper ending.

Yeah Cartoon network has gone downhill big time with their programming. No more Jack, Dexter, Powerpuff girls, Blue Dragon, etc,etc.

Unfornutately, yes. Mako, the actor who voiced Aku, died a few years ago. They'll find someone to replace him, but'll it won't be the same.

Sorry...The animation was part of the show's charm. To have it go the live-action route will take away what made it appealing.

Yeah no live action crap. Enough good cartoons have been ruined with live action counter parts, Jack does not need to be one of them.

Here is the thing, I dislike people who say DONT DO THIS OR DONT DO THAT. People said Lord of the Rings would SUCK as a live action movie, and guess what, you were all proven wrong by a massive degree.

It all depends on who makes it and the budget it has. If the movie is true visually to the cartoon, thats the only way I'll accept it. A live action anime movie needs to be made well, the right way. Anime physics need to be used, animal people, jumping 1000 feet in the air, moving in a blur, things like that. Sure, based on what others have done it would suck, but if you get the right director and writer and visual effects people, you can win.
