they can't all be dead, yes most of the musicians overdosed, but what about the people who went to woodstock?
are there no more hippies anymore? did the dream die?

Many of them can be found wandering around the labyrinthine corridors of their frazzled minds, muttering about soybeans. But...
The 70's.supercubedude64is what my Big Book of Cultural History says too. I reckon Woodstock marked the end of the dream to a lot of people rather than some sort of turning point.
If they didn't die they learned guitar, and you'll always see them as that old guy with the grey hair pony tail who turns up at family barbecues or weddings.

think they are too young for nursing homes
Not really. Say someone was 20 when they went to woodstock. They'd be 60 now.[QUOTE="neohergeo"][QUOTE="juden41"]They turned into capitalists and invaded the nursing homes.Agent-Zero

For the most part, those hippes from yesteryear are your grandparents. And they probably smoked more pot, dropped more acid, and had more unprotected sex in their college years than you ever will in your lifetime. Yay for the '60s!!!
