I read.
Either that or 'ludes.

What's a "'lude"?
A class 1 narcotic, I was kidding. People used to take em to get high, but they were sold as sleeping meds.

I get more hyper when I excercise :P
That's if you exercise right before you try to go to sleep. But if you exercise, say 2 hours before you try to go to sleep, you'll be worn out.I just force myself to pretty much think of absolutely nothing. Doesn't work well if I am not tired. In which case I do not sleep. An hour or so of Pink Floyd usually does the trick though.
I actually don't sleep much or at all so doctors gave me pills. I listen to some music when I can though.
A dark, cool room, with the fan blowing.
Complete silence.. if anybody is making noise any where else in the general area.. I cannot sleep. NO tv on.. no sound what so ever other than the fan.
even if somebody has the tv on in the room next to me.. and I hear it.. it'll keep me up for hours.
Is that throughout the whole sleep, or just at the beginning when you're falling to sleep?A dark, cool room, with the fan blowing.

I can sleep during a movie, an earthquake, a bright room with music playing, a party. Noise and lights don't bother me much.
I wonder if our respective tolerances are conditioned? Could I condition myself to need dark and silence with enough of it, or could you condition yourself to lights and sound?
Oh and I HAVE slept through all those things. Lol.

I used to be able to sleep with the tv on, so I'm not entirely convinced that's true. I probably could condition myself to sleep under different circumstances, but why do that when it works fine how I do it now?I generally watch videos and fall asleep. Strange though, I sometimes watch NES and it keeps me awake. But PS2 and higher up walkthroughs make me stay more awake. P the videos I watch are ones where close your eyes and you feel like you are in the environment - like a barber shop. I also listen to FF, DQ, and Zelda songs to make me sleep.Mr_Cumberdale
That's cool. I could fall asleep to the Legend of Zelda fairy song easily.
Have I ever bothered to tell you how creepy your sig is?
.... very.
Luckily I generally work the later hours and so I can pretty much stay up all night until I feel like passing out. When I need to put myself down though I typically just leave some white noise TV broadcast on that is repetitive such as ESPN Sportsnight or CNN Headline News. If I feel my metabolism is a bit high I generally take some cold medicine to put myself down forcibly although my body adapts and attacks medication so I have to use it sparingly lest it have no effect at all.
I sleep in the same position everyday, at the same time everyday. I always have a cup of water and pray before going to bed. I usually fall right asleep after that.
Exercise earlier in the day. I find that if I really exert myself during the day, it's easier for me to sleep at night.
