After recently watching 2012, I got to thinking. What if the government is really trying to cover up that they know the earth really will "end" in 2012. And they are using Global warming as a cover and at the same time are trying to give us hope by saying we can do something about it..

So what do you think?

You're paranoid dude. But, if it is really really true, we can't stop the inevitable. Noah's Arc is obviously the inspiration of 2012. They made a ship-like structure, then the flood as high as Himalayas mountains.

I don't believe it will happen, but there's a possibility it will. You can't just debunk it, we hardly understand the universe as it is, it's too vast and complex.

Then we're already dead. But it'd have to be something quite difficult to find out about. Basically supernatural in nature. If it was an earthquake, asteroid, blackhole, volcano, etc, even amatures in the fields would be able to figure it out. So the government would have a very hard time keeping every amature scientist in the world from telling everyone.
