If there wasnt money there would just simply be a substitute like Gold, Credits, or any sort of trade. The economy isnt just going to collapse and go away for ever ;)
There's always som form of currency/trading, but in theory, yes the world would be a better place. Simply put - no one would be greedy and people would have better values in life.
Also, the only way we wouldn't rely on money/trade or w/e, is if resources were infinite, but sadly, they are scarce and finite, so we gotta use money in order to make sure that we don't run out too quickly.
how can i get bricks for my house if the brick maker doesnt want any of my Grain? dont get me wrong though, the fereal reserves basturdised version of "money" ie "makeing it out of thin air with no biproducts to show for it" i an greatly against.

Eh? How does greed magically go away when money is no longer there? You would still have people with more than they need, you will always have that. Greed does not directly rely on money.
