I think all religions are equally bad in their exploititive nature, but some facilitate - not necessarily encourage or condone, but facilitate - violence much more than others. Preaching non-violence is no good when much of that preaching is interpretive.
I think any of the religions that has never facilitated violence through its interpretable teachings are equally good, while the rest are equally bad.
But to put it another way, I think they're all bad. I'm a soulless heathen pagan, and when I die I'm going to rot in the ground. And I'm very, very happy with that.
I think of buddhism more as a philosophy than a religion... plus no religion is the best, they all have horrible glaring flaws.whatsit2ya
oh really? cuz islam doesnt ... In books , not by what you see nowadays, get yourself a quran and i would do anything if u found a single flaw ;)
Definitely Buddhism. I believe the point of life is to be happy and this is the only religion wholly centered around that desired state of being. Everything else is just kind of bull.quiglythegreat
hmm , i disagree , life = a test for a period of time, either u fail or pass , if u fail ur going to hell , if u pass ur going heaven for infinity as a reward of passing the test PERIOD.
PS : no one can be happy in all times in life , there will be always tragedies and soorrow and its a part of the TEST
being sad is like a hard question you have to figure out the correct answer by what u learn from life

That's in its own way very nihilistic, even pessimistic, and I find that those two tones of thought lend very little to good thinking. Here and now is pretty important. It may not be everything, but is something in itself, surely, not just some silly stepping stone. Now is all right and you need to learn to deal with it because it isn't going anywhere. If I HAD to choose I would say Buddhism. They seem to not f*** up the world as much as any other religion.
All religions suck, though.
I choose none, I hate religion, everything related to religion, sometimes I hate the word religion, sounds like legion, something special or important, when in reality it's just a bunch of annoying rules that old men with no lives follow.

a person without a good religion is like a country without laws and rights etc which means CHAOS and NON-PROTECTION
Hinduism, because it has the "be peaceful with everyone" mantra and the cool looking Deities.Hewkii

Our enemies help us more than our friends because they challenge us to overcome hate and conflict. I don't believe bad people exist, I believe some people react to pain in negative ways.In Judaism people throw tons of candy at you on your Bar Mitzva. If you survive, it's the best religion ever!Zagrius
Plus, you get tons of cash. Bar Mitzvahs ftw. But I don't think any religion is aby better than others, as long as they don't solicit their religion at my doorstep.

It's good to try to be completely at peace and to think that some people are evil incarnate is not conducive of that state of being. This is an impossible question to answer, every answer will be 100% bias based on what that person is. Each religion has their own ups and downs, for example, Christianity is very easy and popular because they believe all you have to do is lay down and night and whisper "sorry Jesus" and all of your sins will wash away. Some believe Buddhism is the best, the true path to enlightenment. Some, myself included, will say Catholocism is the best due to our confession system, actually paying for the sins you commit through penance. But, like I said, it all depends on the person.RiSkyBiZ-13Buddhism is the only religion I know actively centered around being unbiased. Just a little FYI.
