What is everyone's favourite time frame in music and why?

For me personally is 1968-1976. I feel many genre's peaked within that time frame such as R&B/Soul, reggae, rock, jazz, funk, punk etc etc you name it.

The talent roster then too e.g. Marvin Gaye, Queen, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Joni Mitchell, David Bowie, Rufus and Chaka Khan, Aerosmith, EWF, Isley Brothers, Bob Marley and many more... In fact I feel bad for those who were born between 1970-1976.

Anyways... What about you guys?

1988-2003

• Industrial rock
• Alternative rock
• Nu-Metal

For most people it's their late teens/early 20s, and I'm no different, so for me 1999-2003-ish. Nu jazz, electronica, drum and bass, nu bossa, downtempo and other genres that I'm not sure how they're called, nor do I really care.
