Walk everywhere and get regular exercise. After a few months you won't miss eating junk food at all. I'm not overweight, but I stopped eating junk food and soft drink to stay healthy and now I can't stand the taste of them. Soft drink is seriously disgusting once you get off it. You can taste all the artificial crap in coke.

All the above = WIN
Become an alcoholic, I swear I lost like 20 pounds in a couple months when I drank like crazy. lol
But seriously, don't do that, drinking is bad. >_>
I would just stay away from high calorie stuff, fatty stuff, the usual. Try to eat lots of veggies and fruits. I'm no expert on the subject but I think it's pretty obvious right off the bat what stuff should be avoided.

This dude is 100% right. I just tried some Coca-Cola after a year of not having any and it's just horrible. I don't know why I drank so much of it a few years ago.
But in all seriousness, it doesn't always matter what you eat as long as you exercise. Drink plenty of water and eat a lot of fruits and vegetables but aside from that, you can eat anything you want to.
I used to do that when I played soccer/football a lot. I was really tone and slim, but as soon as I stopped playing soccer, I started gaining weight, although my diet remained the same.

What he said, only eat twice as much veggies, fruit, and meat as normal, drop all carbohydrates and sugars, and eat more frequently. No soda at all - not even diet - goes a long way.
Well I used to Weigh something around 270 this time last year. Was frigging rediculous. So I just Started eating less crap, and excersising more and I'm now about 196, since a couple months ago. Ive gotte n a bit complacent with it recently, so Ive slackened off, and I'm gonna keep working on it till I'm like 175 . But this s how I did it. Complicated, but worth it, and its not following some awful fad diet either..
First off, Find your BMR (Basal Metabolic rate), which is how any calories a day your body burns naturally, through breathing and heartbeats etc, then eat less amount of calories than that a day. To put on or burn a pound, you must eat, or burn off around 3500 calories respectively. Therefore, having a total calorie intake of 500 calories LESS than your BMR, a day, will result in one pound lost in a week (500 x 7 = 3500 calories burnt off = a pound.), so 1000 calories less than your BMR a day = 2 pounds lost per week. Etc etc.
Longest post I've ever written I think, haha.
