For me, as of right now, it's Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier, a hefeweizen from Bavaria.

What's OT's favorite beer?

Really got a taste for Guiness lately. Otherwise Heineken and good local beers.

Coors, Budweiser, and Pabst Blue Ribbon. American beers are the best!

Sorry. Didn't realize a thread had already been made yesterday. Oh well.

Also, some of my friends are crazy about this Heady Topper beer from Vermont. It's a double IPA with limited distribution. Then again, I don't like IPAs that much.

If we're talking about craft beer, I can't just pick any one. If we're talking about my standard go-to gut-rot beer, either Natty Ice or Steel Reserve.

Rickard's Red always makes me happy. Never say no to something new if offered.

Red Stripe, or Heineken. When I really want to drink though I prefer a lighter beer and something cheap, Pabst and Busch are good for that.

Okanagan Springs Old English Porter, or just Porter as it's now called, I believe. 8.5%, darker than sin, thick as molasses. Makes Guinness taste like cold watered down coffee. I also really loved Philip's Amnesiac for a while until they modified the hops - not sure what they did but the bottles went from being grapefruity with a ton of mixed bitterness to this weird, half-cloudy mess that was as much sour as it was bitter. The change reminded me an awful lot of a wheat beer, which outside of Grasshopper I generally don't like (keep any hefeweizens away from me please). And I still like Lighthouse's Race Rocks as a go-to beer, it's a nice amber ale that's pleasant to drink without being watery and tasteless. If I'm out and about and the selection is limited or mass-market, I'll go for a Rickard's Red or Sleeman's Honey Brown, usually. They're both relatively inoffensive beers.

Guinness. My favorite seasonal beers right now are Sam Adams OctoberFest, UFO Pumpkin Ale, Shipyard's Pumpkinhead Ale and of course Pumking.
