Why does there have to be begining and an end?gobo212thats kind of what im saying, i dont think there is a begining or an end
Before dark energy, there are two scenarios for the future of the universe. If the mass density of the universe were greater than the critical density, then the universe would reach a maximum size and then begin to collapse. It would become denser and hotter again, ending with a state that was similar to that in which it started. Alternatively, if the density in the universe were equal to or below the critical density, the expansion would slow down, but never stop. Star formation would cease, stars would burn out leaving white dwarfs, neutron stars, and black holes. And collisions between these would result in mass accumulating into larger and larger black holes. The average temperature of the universe would approach absolute zero. This would result in radiation and black holes cos of the proton being unstable. Eventually, black holes would evaporate. The entropy of the universe would increase to the point where no organized form of energy could be extracted from it also called heat death.
Modern observations of accelerated expansion imply that more and more of the currently visible universe will pass beyond our event horizon and out of contact with us. The eventual result is not known. The Lamda-CDM model of the universe contains dark energy in the form of a cosmological constant. This theory suggests that only gravitationally bound systems, such as galaxies, would remain together, and they too would be subject to heat death, as the universe expands and cools.
This explanation will surely answer your questions as to why it happens and if understand why it happens u will be able to realize how it started..:)
reality is your veiw in the world baced on your choices your memorys and your truths its the way we see things diffenily to others pwn-flakesi totally agree, ive always said reality is what your mind tells you its
People ask about the Big Bang, Chuck Norris shrugs it off as a bad-case of gas.
Nah i don't beleive it because its a human that created the Big Bang theory and i'm not going to base on how the universe was created on another persons judgement and on something that probably happened billions of years ago.I really don't know but i've thought up some weird theories i remember one i'll keep it short.
Every atom is a universe and if we mess with them atoms they bloody blow up.Now you gotta understand that i was a bit out of it when i thought this up and theres obviously deeper explanation this.
either way, that sounds awesome :DBefore dark energy, there are two scenarios for the future of the universe. Well there was a theory that in the beginning the big bang was caused by two parallel universes colliding or some such event.Quent1015
I remember seeing something on that during a special about string theory. interesting stuffs

woah k_ozz how do you know all that are you some kind of sientist? thats interesting, ive heard some stuff about that dark energy, thats crazy, its almost as if thats whats in control of our universesovereign_22
this reality? an illusion.... a vibration of the mind.. think about it... as you hold that mouse in your hand, what is deciphering what you feel, see, and hear it do? I always trip my friends out talking about this sort of stuff.... sure the nerves are there in your hand to feel the mouse... but it's your mind that computes it and decides how it feels... same with vision... your eyes may be focusing on an object, but really it is your mind which perceives it. Therefore, this whole reality is merely an illusion of our mind. There's this one type of fungus which has been highly revered for many many years, which manifests from cow dun... very enlightening... very enlightening indeed.proctorsurf
lay off the shrooms dude

[QUOTE="giton"][QUOTE="CptJSparrow"]Only what you perceive it to be.gobo212
perception isn't reality. it may be what people really react to, versus objective reality, but perception is just what we sense, not what is.
Georse Berkeley might disagree...
or Timothy Leary?
No, I doubt George Berkeley would disagree that perception isn't reality. He would say you can't know reality, but not that your perception creates it or defines it. ... I think.
