What is the best TV series out there?

You know, one that beats every other to the ground?

The only rule of this thread is obviously to keep HBO series out, because they are terrible so they obviously cant be in a "best series" thread, and I mean it, no HBO series.

For me, its breaking bad, awesome serie.

Mad Men or The Walking Dead. Can't decide which one I like best.

The Wire and Six Feet Under for shows that are finished.

For my money 'Sons of Anarchy'.

I loved Desperate Housewives but that ended a few months back :'(

Sons of Anarchy and Justified. Loving Breaking Bad so far too. Also I'll include Band of Brothers, Generation Kill, Deadwood, and The Wire BECAUSE DAMN YOUR RULES!

Well everyone has their tastes but if you can't at least respect how well-made shows like The Wire and Boardwalk Empire are then yeah, you're probably a kid. Your pony avatar just proves that even more.

The question is a bit odd, as everyone has a different opinion. This could've just been the 'what's your favorite TV show' thread.

My 3 most favorite shows would have to be Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Arrested Development and the current Sons of Anarchy.

There are other shows I want to get into, but The Walking Dead and Homeland are both great shows that I'm currently watching.

Breaking Bad is absolutely brilliant.

Before then The Shield was my favorite TV show of all time. Just amazing writing and direction.

Breaking Bad, The Wire, The Shield, Game of Thrones, and Arrested Development are favorites. Honorable mention to It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Haven't been able to really get into Six Feet Under, likely for the same reason I am meh about Mad Men. Real life is usually kinda boring.

Walking Dead and Boardwalk are p. good, too.

Breaking Bad, My Little Pony, Doctor Who, and It's Always Sunny for me.

I said no HBO series and I meant it, if you want to make your own hbo series thread then go do it, this thread is not for HBO series. Therefore if you mentioned an HBO serie, it will automatically be changed to whatever show you hate the most.lightleggy
