104 Fahrenheit. Good times.JML897me too. I had one once for so long I can't believe I'm not severely brain damaged.
I've had two 105 temps, one from a severe flu when I was really little (I have vague memories of being carried into the ER by my panicked dad) and once in college when I had mono. Unfun :(I had a 105 once when I had strep throat for the first time. I thought it was just the simple flu and ignored it, but when I started getting dizzy and a bit delirious, I had to go to the emergency room.

Okay that's holy **** I hope you were in the hospital. horgen123
Yea, it was not fun at all. If it had lasted any longer it would've fried my brain completely.

Yea, it was a real bad viral infection.
ins't a fever over 105 F capable of brain damagekemar7856
When your body gets hot (usually around 104) the hydrogen bonds in your enzymes break down thus rendering them useless and it shuts down the metabolic process. So that is in addition to the fact it can "burn" neurons which do not go through mitosis and thus if damaged stay damaged. So yes, its bad if not treated quickly.
