The last two films I saw and liked a lot were Eat Drink Man Woman and The Wedding Banquet, which are both directed by Ang Lee (Brokeback Mountain, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Lust, Caution). For those of you interested in foreign film, I urge you to watch Eat Drink Man Woman because it's a great story with nice visuals and great music.

Me and a friend just finished our "Scream" marathon. We watched all three Scream movies in a row. I wouldn't define them as great movies though. Entertaining, but not great in the true sense of the word. No, I would say that the last really great film I watched was The Maltese Falcon.

Sadly, European DVD release dates suck, so it'll probably be here in a month or so. :(

The last "great" film I recently watched was The Holy Mountain (70s movie). There Will Be Blood and No Country for Old Men are at the top of my list to watch. I recently watched part of 30 Days of Night and thought it was horrible...senseless violence. There's a scene in that movie where a gang of vampires surrounds this teenage girl and slowly mauls and slashes her to death...how anyone finds that entertaining is beyond me. I stopped watching the movie at that point.

That movie is horribly boring ! I reaaally tried to watch it but I even fast forwarded the bits with the spaceships flying excrutiatingly slow but even then it was boring.

last "great" movie ...uhm I though Hot Rod was great:lol:

And I know how its going to look that I put down a serious movie for being boring but I say a goofy movie like hot rod is great but i don't care
