For me it was a week ago at a high street Japanese Restaurant with 2 of my cousins. Bill? $590.

The menu had no prices on it so cant really be blamed :D

Long time ago with my father. He invited me to have a meal with him.It was some fancy ass restaurant. He paid over 250euros and it was only for me and him.

I don't like those expensive places. The people in there had the most disgusting look on their face just because I wasn't wearing some fancy clothes.

In a restaurant called "Oud sluis", has 3 michelin stars so the food was simply out of this world,
The bill was well over 600€ though, for only two persons.

I actually think that they shouldnt put prices on menus because that way you dont worry about prices and you can enjoy the food.

As for you guys, i hope to go to a restaurant with a good Michelin rating one day.

Theirs actually tons of restaurants that do that. Especially in Vegas, I remember eating at a place that had no prices, all i had was steak and I think it was around 100 dollars. It was very good steak though. :P

$100 for a family of four :P. I still haven't bought any expensive food since I left parents. My dad made $150,000 and was cheap as anything. I wore ratty clothes I have no clue where all that money went.

This Japanese restaurant in some hotel ( I think it was Shangri La ). Best sushi I ever had, and I gorged myself. Best part was that I didn't have to pay, my dad treated.

aaah fellow countryman ;)

Anyway I highly recommend that place, when you feel like eating gastronomically you should really try it out.
The Chef is Sergio Herman by the way, you might have seen him on TV .

Hard to say. I don't really eat at expensive restaurants.

The most expensive I can remember is a $90 meal for 2 at a Vietnamese place.

i've been to per se which is keller's east coast restaurant in nyc. my brother worked there so we got comp'd on the wine ( paired with each course ). the food ( 18 courses of it ) came to $375 before tip. it was ridiculous. i've never eaten that much in one meal in my life. lasted 5 hours plus we got a kitchen tour afterwards which was pretty cool

I forget the name but it was in Manhattan and it was about 1,000 bucks or so for out meals and drinks. Granted their where 4 of us so it was that reasonable and it was like a 5 course meal of whatever the chef created for that day.

Did spend about 900 bucks once in Mexico during March Madness since IU was actually doing good at that time so we kept drinking and drinking.

Meal I paid for? $23 for 3 :P What? That's a price to pay for a student with no job in the Philippines though yeah not as much as the others here. Meal someone else paid for? Probably $230 for 4? Most expensive meal me and my family ever had and it was for my birthday. I appreciated it so much :)

I don't remember what it was, an assortment of lobster and crab I believe, but the total bill ran around 300 bucks and I ended up paying the lion's share of it.

100$ for 2 of the smallest lobsters in the tank, and my date didnt even eat hers. Also in Bermuda i was taken to some pretty swank spots, where steaks were easily 60+ without garnish. Still, best steaks ive ever had was there.

Honestly, I don't remember. But we do it at a relatively expensive restaurant every few months (about $30-40 per person) so that's it I guess. :D

I once went on a date to a gourmet restaurant somewhere in New York City. The bill was about $200. That is a whole lot when you usually eat off the dollar menu at McDonalds. The food was absolutely delicious, though.

^ This...been there once a few years back. It's usually rated in the top ten restaurants of the US or world or something. I have the same opinion. It was good food, but not worth.

I ate at some fancy schmancy place in Paris that my sister was working at.. Guy Savoy or something, and it was good food, assuming you like French food. I couldn't tell you what the cost was, because she picked up the tab, but it was probably over-priced. I recall seeing my first Bugatti in person parked outside.

I really would rather just go to Chipotle. Is that so wrong?

A $12 burrito at Chipotle is better than all the 200 dollar meals people in hotels I worked don't even eat.

My high school grad dinner was $70 and the only drink served was water.
