What is the most iconic car in the world?

What I mean by that, is what car stands out above all others? a car that can be recognized by a little kid, to an old person. that people from all around the world can easily tell you what that car is withoutneeding to think about it. Even if people who aren't into cars, can tell you the make and model of it.

Any ideas?

i agree, jeep has to be the most iconic vehicle ever. even today it could still outmatch a lot of out 4x4 vehicles

I'm presuming when you say Iconic you mean instantly recognisable mass-produced, so, VW Beetle, Mustang, Corvette, 55-57 Chev, E-type Jag, Porsche 911, oh and VW Combi-Van.
