They have a better Madden team, though.

That depends on what you want to do. If you want to do concept art for games you might look at RISD or SCAD. If you're looking to get into programming any school with an excellent computer science curriculum, like an engineering school, will work well for you as long as you do well in your studies. If you want to run your own game company, Harvard Business School might be a top choice.

Otherwise if you just want to learn about games, you're already in the right place. ;)

Don't go to college for game design. Learn programing, and or an illustration/3D animation combo.

I live near SCAD and know some people who go there (they are not in game development though) but I hear their program is good... That is if you can get in and afford it.

Also, I took a tour of Full Sail in Orlando many years ago when I was interested in music production and their video game development program looked great. You can get a Bachelor's in 2 years and while it is still expensive it is probably not as expensive as somewhere like SCAD.

South Harmon Institute of Technology. Hurry up and apply before it gets shutdown, though.

Exactly. Try being a Comp Sci major, and take some Software Engineering courses.

After I posted, this story popped up outlining what one game firm looks for when recruiting. Best of luck.
