Well the suicide part was a bit extreme, but I think his point was how much he really cares about his mom and how difficult it would be to live without her.

If you haven't for even a second contemplated suicide you either are lying or haven't lived too much.
I've contemplated suicide but that's because I've been severely depressed for 6 years.

That's correct.
It's nice that you love your mom so much, but unless you're living a seriously unhealthy lifestyle you're gonna have to live on without her someday(kinda sad when a mother outlives her kid)
