What is the point of being insanely rich?

If i was filthy rich,i would buy a mansion in the woods somewhere outside a city and become

The point of being rich.. Buy stuff.. Donate money.. Live a good life. What's your point?

to buy stuff, some things cost alot, such as other companies, boats, houses, cars ect

Why? Is nobody allowed to be rich? It's not like he exploited cheap asian labour to get rich. That is the business of H&M. Bill Gates earned his money man. He donates a LOT more money to charity than you do, so quit whining.

No, everybody is allowed to be rich, its the American dream. There is a difference between"We are well off." richand "I have more money then god!!!" rich, and Iknow Bill Gates donates a lot of money to charities but its a tax write-off therefore not loosing much if not gaining more back in the end.

I honestly would donate 60 to 70% (or even more)of my earnings to charity and society, if I were making something like 10 million a year after taxs. I can not honestly see why I would ever need more money then that.. For instance I wouldn't buy a expensive mercedes, maybe just a brand new honda civic that would be my max spending for a car..
